The Eldest Sister Has Space: Chapter 7: all be damned

Chapter 7: All Damn

Gu Yundong suddenly opened her eyes and walked into the courtyard outside.

The walls of the yard were not very high, with a sauce jar placed under the corner of the wall, covered with a wooden board.

Gu Yundong cautiously stepped on the sauce jar to expose half of her head and peered out from the wall.

She saw two tall men standing under the moonlight, one of them whispered, “Be quiet, don’t wake anyone up.”

The other person rubbed his leg and muttered, “I didn’t know there was a rock here. I accidentally tripped over it.”

Gu Yundong squinted. She had placed that stone there. In addition to the stone, there were wooden pegs across the door. Thankfully, she had tidied them up, or else she wouldn’t have picked up on the sound so quickly.

What were these two sneaky men up to?

She wondered to herself as the two men turned slightly, revealing their faces.

Gu Yundong’s face suddenly changed. She inherited the memories of the original owner, and she had only seen these two faces in the morning.

At that time, she was still with the Gu family, and Gu Dahe accidentally bumped into one of them while walking. The fierce gaze of those two was akin to a wolf eyeing its prey, sending shivers down her spine.

Gu Dahe had repeatedly apologized, yet the two of them kicked him harshly before leaving.

Before they left, Gu Yundong clearly saw the malice in their eyes.

So, what were they doing here now?

“Alright, be cautious and stop being fussy,” came the low voices of the two people under the corner of the wall.

“I know, let’s hurry. Just thinking about those two young and tender dolls makes my mouth water. We’re lucky that one of them is in a coma. We only need to deal with the other one, and then the two little dolls will be ours,” one of them said.

“You’re just obsessed with food. Weren’t you the one who stepped on it earlier? Is this the spot?” the two men walked away as they continued their conversation.

Gu Yundong’s face changed dramatically, her hands and feet turning cold. She almost lost her balance and fell uncontrollably from the sauce jar.

In just two sentences, an immense amount of information had been revealed.

In this chaotic world, there were people who swapped and ate children. Gu Yundong had spent a year in the end times and had witnessed such individuals with her own eyes. It was no wonder that the two men had red and sinister eyes and emitted a putrid odor.

So, they were clearly addicts.

Gu Yundong’s eyes gradually turned cold and ruthless, with a hint of bloodthirstiness.

In her eyes, regardless of the environment, one must have a basic moral bottom line. Otherwise, they would be no better than animals surviving on instinct.

And this was her bottom line.

Not to mention their conversation, which seemed to indicate that they were targeting them.

Four people, two youngsters, with one in a coma. They only needed to deal with one member of the Yang family.

They couldn’t let them go.

Gu Yundong saw the two men reach the door of the house in front of them and quietly enter.

She moved her limbs. Although her strength was slowly returning, her body was still weak. Engaging in close combat to kill two people would be like offering herself as food. Unfortunately, she couldn’t find a gun in the apocalypse. Otherwise, long-range attacks would easily eliminate them.

Hmm?

Wait a minute…

She didn’t have a gun, but she remembered having a crossbow. She had accidentally come across it while collecting supplies, though there weren’t many arrows, and she rarely used it.

A smile appeared in Gu Yundong’s eyes as she rolled over from the wall.

She hurriedly walked to the door of the neighboring house where the two men had entered. The courtyard door was still open.

Gu Yundong tilted her head slightly and saw one of them standing in the courtyard, while the other was missing.

Great, one at a time.

Gu Yundong adjusted the crossbow and aimed it at his neck…
