Absolute Regression: Chapter 7 Part 4

Chapter 7 Part 4

Dae-Hyun and Ji-Eun arrived at the small village late in the afternoon. The village was nestled between rolling hills and was surrounded by lush green fields. The air was fresh and the atmosphere peaceful.

As they walked through the village, they noticed the houses made of wood and traditional hanok style. The streets were clean and lined with beautiful flowers, adding a touch of color to the village. The villagers were friendly and greeted them warmly as they passed by.

Ji-Eun couldn’t help but feel a sense of calm and tranquility in this village. It was a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city they had come from. Dae-Hyun could see the happiness in Ji-Eun’s eyes and was glad that he had brought her here.

They arrived at the village center where a small market was set up. The market was bustling with activity, with vendors selling fresh produce, handmade crafts, and various other goods. The aroma of street food filled the air, making their stomachs growl.

Dae-Hyun and Ji-Eun decided to explore the market and try some of the local delicacies. They savored the taste of hotteok, a sweet and chewy pancake filled with brown sugar and cinnamon. They also tried bindaetteok, a savory pancake made with mung beans and served with soy sauce.

As they continued to wander through the market, they came across a stall selling traditional handmade pottery. The intricate designs and vibrant colors caught their attention. Ji-Eun couldn’t resist buying a small vase as a souvenir to take home.

They spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the village, admiring the picturesque scenery and interacting with the friendly villagers. As the sun began to set, they found a cozy spot near a stream and sat down to relax.

Dae-Hyun looked at Ji-Eun and smiled. He was grateful to have shared this experience with her and was reminded of how much he loved her. Ji-Eun leaned her head on his shoulder and looked at the setting sun with contentment.

As they sat there in silence, they both knew that this village had given them something special – a moment of bliss and a memory they would cherish forever. They had discovered the beauty of simplicity and the joy of being together in a peaceful place.

As the stars started to twinkle in the night sky, Dae-Hyun and Ji-Eun held hands and made a promise to return to this village someday. A promise to relive this beautiful moment and create new memories together.

And so, their journey continued, but the memories of this small village would forever remain in their hearts.
