I killed three of them and incapacitated one, but there are still six left.
And that’s not all.
“Oh~ lorororo!”
“My brothers are under attack!”
“East! It’s coming from the east!”
Shouts could be heard from all around the forest. The other orcs, the remaining 90 orcs, started moving upon hearing the sounds of battle.
“Let’s meet again later!”
I ran away without hesitation. Even though my stats had increased, I only had two arms and two legs. If I were to be surrounded, there would be no way out, so I had to avoid being cornered.
“Stay right there!”
“You human scum!”
The orc guys with wide eyes started chasing after me.
“But that’s impossible!”
The orc guys had strong stamina, enough to run for 500 meters at full speed, but it took them 20 seconds to run 100 meters, which was pathetic. It seemed that their broad shoulders and thick armor helped them swing their axes or withstand impacts, but it didn’t help them run.
Even when I only had slightly better stats than an ordinary person and was just a novice with my skills, I was able to outrun them. But now, as a professional, there was no reason for me to get caught.
I sprinted towards the east.
“Alright. With some time to spare, I should be able to catch all of them in about three days.”
And while I bought time, the villagers would diligently move towards the north.
“Log out!”
After sprinting more than 5 kilometers towards the east at full speed, I returned to reality. And there, I lay on the ground for about 30 minutes before getting up.
“Phew. Let’s check now.”
I went to the official website of Revenge and checked the question and answer section. When I searched for experience points, numerous search results appeared.
I clicked on one of them.
[Question] They said the levels are infinite, but I’m not leveling up at all! What’s the experience point formula?
-I heard that the levels keep increasing infinitely in Revenge’s advertisement, and I thought I would level up easily, but the leveling speed slows down like crazy after level 35. Even if I spend the whole day auto-hunting, I’m not sure if I can gain one level.
[Answer] Forget about leveling up.
-You should focus on acquiring equipment, skills, and collections instead of experience points!
The early levels are fast to level up. The stat increases are sweet. At low levels, the required experience points increase by 10 or 20, so you can level up just by killing a few monsters. Even reaching level 11 from level 10 takes only 100 experience points, right? From level 10, the experience points increase by 100, 200, but it’s still manageable.
However, the Revenge experience system is a tutorial until level 20!
From level 20, the experience point formula changes completely. In other words, the required experience points to reach the next level are [the sum of all the experience points required so far].
For example, the required experience points from level 1 to 20 is 5950, so to reach level 21 from level 20, you need 5950 experience points. What about reaching level 22 from level 21? You need 11900 experience points.
The rate at which the experience points increase becomes overwhelming, so as your level goes up, the required experience points become impossible!
There is no max level in Revenge, but the current rank 1 player, the Sword God (劍神) Magic Master, is level 81. No matter where you hunt, leveling up is inevitable, so focus on acquiring equipment, skills, and especially collections!
In fact, collections are the alpha and omega of improving your specs!
“The required experience points have gone insane… But wait.”
I muttered as I read through the question and answer section.
“Collections?”
