I remember how my excited ‘Yes!’ when I saw Stardust stop the train got immortalized and is now being tossed around left and right. It’s mainly being used as evidence for romantic rumors… Damn paparazzi. Just have a knack for catching on… Anyway, drawing too much attention too often isn’t good.
Lately, I’ve been lounging at home, doing next to nothing. Mostly, I’ve been playing with Seo-eun. She’s in her third year of middle school and doesn’t have a single friend, so I can only imagine how bored she must be… Soobin joined us, and we’ve spent our time playing board games and having fun with the Switch. Despite grumbling that these are just kids’ games, they both looked adorable having a blast as soon as everything was spread out in the living room. Right, kids should play like kids! It can’t be good for them to be staring at computers all the time.
Anyway, it’s another day of idly passing the time. I was eating an apple that Soobin had cut up while watching TV, when Seo-eun, who was doing something in her room, came running to me. Then, she showed me something and said, “Let’s go here.”
“Ice cream festival?”
“Yeah, remember? I told you about it before, and it’s today! We have to go!”
Seo-eun’s eyes glittered as she spoke. Soobin seemed to want to go too. Now that I think about it, it does sound vaguely familiar. The International 13th Ice Cream Festival… It’s not something I recall from the original work…
From beside me, Seo-eun was explaining that it’s the festival’s first time in Korea and there’s a ton of things to see and do. Having never heard of an ice cream festival before, it piqued my curiosity. Seo-eun, like me, enjoys being a homebody the most, but her eagerness to head out made me wonder… Is she that excited to see it, or does she just love ice cream that much?
“Alright, let’s go! Get changed,” I exclaimed, rising from my seat. Well, it’s not like anything strange would happen, right?
