Chapter 13 Kimchi
“So, is this a dream?” The moment Mo Ling had this thought, he realized he could wake up.
The sensation in his body gradually returned, and as long as he opened his eyes, he could leave this world.
But Mo Ling did not choose to wake up.
“Why is this world so real?” He could understand the pajamas and the blocky head on his body.
But how did the dream create the Dawn City, which he had no memory of, and even find information from reality in the library?
Mo Ling was puzzled.
“No wonder so many people are lost in their dreams.” He continued reading and found out that after Zhou Ming came back from the dream, he also described to the researchers that there was information in the dream that he didn’t know about.
Zhou Ming even speculated that the dreams were connected.
Everyone following this method would arrive in the same dream!
But this had not been confirmed.
Seeing this, Mo Ling felt a surge of joy.
If this was true, it meant that he could find Li Luo in this world and wake her up!
But in this vast Dawn City, how would he find Li Luo?
Remembering his experience of waking up, he had a plan.
Feeling of dissonance.
He needed to create a feeling of dissonance that everyone could see in Dawn City.
When his consciousness awakened, Mo Ling found that his abnormal perception had returned, including his ability to teleport.
But now, if he initiated teleportation, where would the items go?
Inside the blocky head?
Mo Ling left the reading machine, walked out of the door, and arrived at the park outside the library.
The extension of his perception had not changed, still 111111.
Attempting to target a stone, Mo Ling initiated the teleportation.
The stone disappeared.
As if it had fallen somewhere, Mo Ling heard a familiar metallic sound.
This sound seemed to be coming from his head.
“Could it really have gone into my head?” Mo Ling focused his view on the block inside his head.
Passing through the metallic shell, Mo Ling arrived at a strange place.
It was a mountain range made of kimchi…
The enormous metallic ground stretched as far as the eye could see, with endless darkness overhead.
Before him were heaps of tall kimchi mountains, extending into the distance where they could not be seen, with kimchi constantly rolling down from the mountains.
Mo Ling tried to pick up a piece and found that these kimchi had not decayed, and he had no idea how long they had been stacked there.
A unique sour smell filled the space, hitting Mo Ling’s brain directly.
The small stone that Mo Ling had teleported in was placed on the metal ground in front of him.
His perception moved very slowly in this space, and when he tried to pass through the ground, he found himself back in the park.
What was that place just now?
Mo Ling couldn’t wrap his head around it.
Why did he end up in that endless kimchi mountain?
Mo Ling entered that space again and threw the stone onto the ground outside.
Just like in reality, his abilities were unaffected.
So he turned his gaze to the kimchi.
With the familiar teleportation operation, a pile of kimchi appeared on the ground.
These kimchi that existed in the unknown place were brought out by Mo Ling.
“Could it be that these kimchi were the price left behind as ‘dream’ artifacts before?” How did they end up in my head?
Suddenly, Mo Ling had a bold conjecture:
It wasn’t the kimchi that ended up in his head, but he had gone to the place where the ‘dream’ storage cost was!
Mo Ling quickly entered the kimchi space again, wanting to experiment with something.
Walking to a mountain, he aimed the teleportation box at the huge kimchi mountain and kept zooming in.
“Yes, it can still only reach 11 at most.”
So Mo Ling walked into the kimchi mountain.
In the park outside the Dawn City Library, people were leisurely walking around.
Suddenly, a gigantic kimchi cube appeared in the middle of the park plaza.
The strong smell caught everyone’s attention, and after the kimchi cube appeared, it suddenly spread out on the ground, with waves of kimchi surging towards the stunned pedestrians.
People screamed and tried to avoid it, but they were still engulfed by the incoming kimchi.
The lucky ones who managed to escape quickly reported to the authorities.
Soon, rescue personnel arrived at the scene, enduring the smell, as they searched for trapped civilians in the kimchi piles.
Mo Ling, covered in kimchi, was dug out and put on a stretcher to be carried away from the scene.
But just as he arrived in front of the ambulance, Mo Ling suddenly jumped up again and ran towards a distance, shocking the medical personnel.
“It worked! It really did.” The three-story high kimchi mountain had smashed onto his body without any sensation, making Mo Ling even more convinced that this was a dream.
In reality, when trapped in the block, due to spatial constraints, only small objects could be teleported.
Now, with no restrictions, he could really show off.
…
In the dream of Dawn City, a news report was playing on the electronic screen:
“A hunter is using artifacts to create chaos in Dawn City.”
“The suspect ran to the top of a tall building and created a huge kimchi cube with the artifact.”
“The kimchi cube fell from the sky and dispersed, causing a kimchi rain in the city.”
“Please be cautious of falling kimchi when going out, stay safe.”
“The relevant departments are currently trying to apprehend the suspect, but have not been successful yet.”
“The suspect’s appearance is very distinctive, wearing pajamas, with a blocky head covered in kimchi.”
“If any citizens see someone like this, please report to the relevant authorities as soon as possible.”
“Below is a surveillance video of the suspect.”
Li Luo was holding the electronic screen, staring at the content:
A blocky head sneaked into the back door of a tall building, then climbed to the roof of hundreds of floors using the emergency exit.
A group of robot security guards discovered him and attacked, but it had no effect.
The blocky head created a kimchi cube on the rooftop, then fell down with the kimchi cube.
Li Luo’s expression became even more strange.
Suddenly, she heard a strange noise outside the window.
At that moment, Mo Ling was standing on top of the tallest building in Dawn City, Dawn Tower.
He was preparing to create a kimchi rain as he had before.
Just as he was about to act, a luxurious window on one of the top floors suddenly opened, and a head popped out.
A bewildered young girl was looking at him.
It was Li Luo.
Mo Ling was momentarily stunned. He had intended to use the news media to convey his image to Li Luo.
But he didn’t expect Li Luo to live in Dawn Tower.
He quickly jumped down and stood in front of Li Luo.
Seeing Mo Ling’s appearance, the girl’s expression was obviously puzzled.
Seeing this, Mo Ling quickly ran to the table, picked up Li Luo’s electronic screen.
Then, he skillfully entered the password, unlocked the electronic screen, and typed in the content of the artifact “dream,” before handing the electronic screen to Li Luo.
Watching her expression change from confusion to clarity after reading it, Mo Ling knew he had succeeded.
After reading it, Li Luo looked at Mo Ling’s strange appearance at the moment, and asked in disbelief, “Are you here to save me?”
Mo Ling nodded.
