Kwon Jae-jin looked at Seo Ui-woo, who was struggling, with a mysterious glance.
Although Seo Ui-woo would eventually have a meal, he had never entered the kitchen with the intention to cook before. I have no idea why he is doing this now. Nevertheless, it seemed quite admirable that he was trying to do something for Kwon Jae-jin.
“Ah, hold on. Let’s put on an apron for you, Mr. Seo Ui-woo.”
Jae-jin brought a black apron and wrapped it around Seo Ui-woo’s waist. While tying the apron from behind, it almost looked as if he was giving him a back hug. Kwon Jae-jin hesitated with his hands.
His gaze was fixed onto Seo Ui-woo’s broad back and thick chest. As his eyes drifted aside, the rugged forearm with rolled-up sleeves came into view.
Having seen him mostly in combat attire or not wearing anything at all after his return, the sight of Seo Ui-woo in casual clothes, and even more so in an apron, suddenly felt unfamiliar.
“Jae-jin?”
“Oh. Yes.”
Jae-jin, who had stood there absent-mindedly, snapped back to reality and started moving his hands again. He properly tied the folded black apron around Seo Ui-woo’s waist, made a knot behind his back, and then stepped back at a distance.
“Look at this! I succeeded already.”
Seo Ui-woo had mastered controlling strength after just three eggs. Though I thought it would take longer, he is a quick learner with good technique. Kwon Jae-jin subtly threw in a compliment.
“Well done.”
“Yes. Haha.”
“Now try stirring it with the whisk. Break down the egg in the water.”
“Just stir it?”
“Yes. Stir in one direction.”
There are many types of egg dishes. Rolled omelet, steamed egg, egg soup…. But considering something Seo Ui-woo could manage, scrambled eggs seemed appropriate. Kwon Jae-jin took out milk and cream from the refrigerator.
