The Grandson of a Chaebol Family who sees Misfortune: Chapter 4 Part 1

“Episode 4
(Let’s Find Out the Reason)
***
“Today’s class is over…”
The teacher standing in front of the podium finished the dismissal.
Then, holding the textbook, he glanced at Kim Seokho for a moment and tilted his head, looking completely different from his usual self. Seokho still couldn’t adapt to this new appearance.
“Attention! Bow!”
“Thank you.”
After receiving the students’ greetings, the teacher couldn’t take his eyes off Kim Seokho even as he left the classroom.
Despite the teacher leaving, the children remained seated and observed Kim Seokho’s reactions.
They slowly rose from their seats and began preparing for evening self-study while whispering among themselves.
Kim Seokho only focused on Park Jangwon, whether the children cared about him or not.
He paid attention to what problems Jangwon solved, how much he studied in a day, how he planned and progressed in everything, and intended to follow everything Jangwon did.
“But that’s really bothering me.”
Kim Seokho frowned as he looked at the dark aura above Jangwon’s head.
On the first day, Jangwon answered indifferently that there was no money at home to avoid the topic of poverty mentioned by Kim Seokho.
And since then, Kim Seokho had only shown a lack of interest in Jangwon’s response.
It wasn’t a good thing, so he couldn’t force Jangwon to find his wallet and see for himself.
However, as time went by, the dark aura intensified, and Kim Seokho couldn’t help but wrinkle his face.
If it were someone else, they could ignore it and move on.
He had overlooked the many dark auras of people he encountered while walking the streets until now.
But Jangwon was different.
Since there was no problem regarding Jangwon’s plan to enter Seoul National University if he remained calm, Kim Seokho decided to help Jangwon with what was happening to him.
“Let’s go.”
Kim Seokho put books in his bag and said to Jangwon.
Jangwon, who was organizing his books for evening self-study after the end of class, looked puzzled at Kim Seokho’s words.
“Go? Where to our house?”
“Our house? Why our house?”
“I need to go to your house today. I need to check with my own eyes.”
“To check what…?”
“Stop talking and get up.”
Kim Seokho shouted at Jangwon as if he were too lazy to explain.
The classroom became quiet in an instant due to Kim Seokho’s voice.
Jangwon also felt tense in the atmosphere where even the sound of a needle dropping could be heard.
Anxiously, Jangwon started packing his bag.
Kim Seokho, who seemed irritated even by Jangwon’s actions, pushed Jangwon’s book into his bag and grabbed the back of his neck, lifting him up.
“Stand in front.”
“Is it really…going to our house? Are you serious?”
“I am serious. If this isn’t resolved, I won’t be able to focus on my studies.”
Jangwon couldn’t understand what Kim Seokho was saying.
But he could understand that moving first was more important than understanding.
Jangwon awkwardly carried his bag and left the classroom, and Kim Seokho followed him.

They arrived at a shantytown where people who were pushed away by the development of Gangnam gathered.
Park Jangwon observed Kim Seokho’s expression as they stood in front of the row of buildings where there was no official address.
Kim Seokho mumbled to himself as he looked around.
“There are all sorts of dark auras gathered here.”
Unfortunate people had gathered together in one place, causing the aura of misfortune to soar above the buildings.
“Forget that…which house is it?”
Unable to answer Kim Seokho’s question immediately, Park Jangwon hesitated.
Kim Seokho found Jangwon’s hesitation frustrating and approached him, placing his hand on Jangwon’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry.”
