Absolute Regression: Chapter 3 Part 2

It was Gu Pyeong-ho.”
Among the eight demon lords, Gu Cheon-do-ma (Blood Heaven Sword Demon) of the Palma-zon is the fifth disciple. Even though he may not know, he must have used all sorts of cunning tricks to win in the Divine Martial Tournament.
“Hey, speak properly. I’m ignoring you, why did your master bring you here?”
Laughter erupted among the group of martial artists. It was the laughter of the Illah-gyeom-zon (One Flower Sword Hon) disciples who had a bad relationship with Gu Cheon-do-ma.
“This brat! Seeing that he is touching my mind like this, it seems that he is confident in his skills.”
Ignoring his words, I looked at the Heavenly Demon sitting on the high seat in the distance.
Even in a place with thousands of martial artists, he exuded a strong presence, as if saying, “I am here.” If I were to bring someone who didn’t know my father and told them to find the Heavenly Demon here, they would definitely find my father. My father’s presence was like a red circle in a black and white drawing.
On either side of my father were the eight masters representing the school, the Palma-zon. They were powerful individuals, even though they lowered themselves in the presence of my father.
Our gazes met. From my father’s eyes, I could read his thoughts.
How are you going to overcome this obstacle?
At that time, I didn’t feel that gaze at all.
“Oh! Father already knows that I was attacked by the Sangong-duk.”
He pretended not to know about the succession dispute, but I knew he understood everything.
Although a similar event was happening, it was a completely different situation.
“You already knew everything, didn’t you? In that case…”
Submitting to the situation like before was the worst idea. Delaying the match after being attacked by the Sangong-duk was a mediocre plan. Winning without using internal martial arts was the best strategy. Because I was no longer the inexperienced youth I was back then. I had lived a much longer life than my father.
To be honest, someone like Gu Pyeong-ho was no match for me even if we fought without using internal martial arts. But I couldn’t reveal my true strength in front of so many martial artists.
I raised my hand high and attracted everyone’s attention.
Then, I said in a loud voice, “I will face Gu Pyeong-ho without using internal martial arts in front of the heroes of our school! I am confident that I can win even without using internal martial arts!”
After my declaration, a moment of silence passed, and then a thunderous cheer erupted.
“Wow!”
On the other hand, Gu Pyeong-ho’s face contorted in surprise. He never expected me to emerge like this. He must be wondering.
-How did he know that I was attacked by the Sangong-duk? The Sangong-duk can only be revealed in a fight.
He must be incredibly curious.
Anyway, if I were to use internal martial arts alone in this situation, I would be seen as a coward. Bewildered, Gu Pyeong-ho shouted with an irritated face.
“If you are going to come out like this, then I won’t use internal martial arts either.”
He reacted just as I expected.
Some of his followers clapped, but there was no cheer. That was because his choice had turned the thrilling fight between those with and without internal martial arts into a boring fight between those without internal martial arts. I could even hear the sound of people getting tired.
Gu Pyeong-ho was taken aback, and his bewilderment turned into anger towards me.
“This brat! Even if I don’t use internal martial arts, my sword does not have eyes so you better be careful.”
I listened to his warning, examining my body. A foreign sensation dominated me as I felt the unfamiliarity of a young body. The sword I used back then felt as light as a toy.
“Will this body truly follow my intentions?”
Although Gu Pyeong-ho drew his sword with great momentum, I on the contrary unsheathed my sword and placed it on the ground. It seemed that the probability of my skill being revealed was higher if I used the sword.
Then the cheers erupted once again.
