That day, articles were pouring out across the nation like a tempestuous storm. Amidst everyday life, an extraordinary event had emerged. Unlike other acts of terror targeted at specific districts or individuals, what set this attack apart was that it was broadcast live for all citizens to witness. In other words, it gathered a tremendous amount of attention.
In just one day, the entire nation became aware of the incident, and both the orchestrator villain ‘Egostick’ and the hero ‘Stardust’ who opposed him quickly gained the spotlight. The magnitude of the incident was such that even foreign media paid heed to it. The Korean Hero Association praised that “With the efforts of Class A Hero Stardust, the terror attack was concluded without any casualties,” and press releases broadcasted the same narrative.
The full video of the terror attack climbed to the number one spot in real-time views on YouTube, making the event sensational. Soon enough, posts analyzing the villain Egostick began to flood the internet, and of course, the Korean Superpower Association was among those analyzing him.

“Alright, let’s begin the briefing,” said a voice within the Korean Hero Association. A meeting was being convened at the very top floor. “The newly emerged villain, he has revealed his name to be Egostick.”
“He appears to be male, likely Korean, and estimated to be in his early to mid-20s.”
“While his identity and residence remain unknown, judging by the fact that all the incidents he has been involved in are concentrated in Seoul, it is highly probable that he resides there.”
“For information on the criminal’s appearance, please refer to the dossier provided.” The dossier distributed to those present at the meeting contained front and side shots of him. His appearance was obscured by all-black attire, from head to toe. He was cloaked in what seemed to be a black robe similar to a long coat, draped with a black cape. The dossier also included details about his mask, which covered half of his face and was speculated to possess identity-obscuring features due to the difficulty in recognizing his face… as noted in the footnote beneath the photos.
“So far, there are two direct murder victims by his hand: both Class A and Class S villains. It appears they were killed by having their skulls compressed and exploded with psychokinesis, without any other injuries, suggesting that they were likely caught off-guard.”
“How powerful is the villain’s psychokinesis judged to be?”
“That is… difficult to determine with certainty at the moment. Smashing a skull could be done by a Class C, given the victim would remain unguarded. Of course, it wouldn’t be easy even for a Class A if there was any resistance. However, considering the nature of the crimes, we assume he attacked when his victims were most vulnerable.”
“Hmm. So, are we thinking he could be around Class C level?”
“We cannot say for sure. We can’t rule out the possibility that the villain deliberately held back his power during the attacks.”

“Yes. While the only direct murders committed by Egostick are those two villains… it seems from this latest mass terror attack that he intended to massacre ordinary citizens as well.”
The room fell into a heavy silence when the briefing reached this point – this was the reason they had all gathered, due to yesterday’s incident.
“Yes, about yesterday’s case, officially known as the ‘Han River Cruise Bombing Attempt,’ let’s delve in. It seems the bombs were planted in advance, and upon disarming them, they were identified as high-performance explosives capable of splitting a boat in half. We have yet to determine the source of these bombs.”
The speaker paused to take a sip of water, excusing himself for a moment before continuing.
“And then there’s the hijacking of transmission signals. It’s unclear how he managed to bypass the latest security technologies to broadcast the event. There are no logs left behind, and since the cameras were moved by the villain, they cannot be verified.”
“While some speculate whether Egostick has some broadcasting-related ability, no superpower individuals with information technology abilities have been confirmed so far, and no one has been identified possessing three superpowers at once. So these are all just conjectures.”
“What is certain at the moment is that Egostick possesses the ability to freely hijack the transmission signals of the three major broadcasting stations.”
