Please Don’t Come To The Villainess’ Stationery Store!: 6

Episode 6

Meldenique said so and left.

Lennox looked at Meldenique leaving and frowned.

It was strange. To his eyes, Meldenique Vaveloa looked like a completely different person.

He thought of Sheria, Meldenique’s younger sister who became a business contract partner and someone who constantly stole his gaze.

A while ago, Sheria sent a lovely letter from the resort.

At the end of the letter filled with affection, she wrote about Meldenique leaving the family and suggested they settle their engagement relationship.

‘Sheria is a beautiful woman. But…’

He bit his inner cheek to regain his composure.

‘I cannot give up on Meldenique Vaveloa.’

His eyes blinked with an intense gleam.

He remembered his father’s last will that said, ‘You must marry Meldenique Vaveloa.’

He even remembered the description that accompanied the will, which seemed to contain a suspicious explanation that would make his eyes squint.

‘If you marry that woman…’

He chuckled, thinking about his perfect future.

His confused mind calmed down.

‘I must make Meldenique Vaveloa mine. Then everything will be perfect.’

Of course, he had no interest in Meldenique.

She was just a bothersome woman, and it was clear that he had favorable feelings towards Sheria. Sheria was his ideal type, beautiful and pure.

Lennox raised the corners of his mouth, smiling smugly.

Recently, the relationship between Sheria and him spread through the social circles like a weaving poem, and he was satisfied.

No one knew that Sheria and Lennox were lovers. But secretly, they thought they matched well and silently supported them.

It was a content everyday life.

If Meldenique hadn’t suddenly demanded a breakup, everything would have gone smoothly according to plan.

He didn’t realize that Meldenique, who sensed his feelings towards Sheria, would act so unexpectedly.

‘A breakup.’

But Sheria’s relationship and Meldenique’s marriage were separate matters.

He planned to continue pursuing marriage with Meldenique.

‘She’s just trying to get my attention, Meldenique.’

But if he thought so, Meldenique must have been foolish. He was never an easy opponent.

The Duke’s eyes narrowed as he watched Meldenique leaving with an ironic smile.

‘This time, I’m using a peculiar jealousy tactic, but I won’t try to intervene.’

Lennox tried to divert his gaze from her.

But he couldn’t. Meldenique turned around and looked at him again.

He inwardly smirked.

He expected this.

Meldenique Vaveloa could never abandon him.

In a cruel courtship, committed for flowers and him, she had gone on various adventures. How could such a woman suddenly change?

‘She was perfectly tamed to only listen to me. She can’t betray me.’

Lennox cynically stared at Meldenique walking towards him.

If Meldenique hadn’t mentioned it, Lennox’s unchanged engagement fiancee, he would have forgiven her. Of course, forgiveness was only once.

Meldenique approached him and said, “By the way, there’s something I forgot to mention.”

Lennox coldly opened his mouth, “You don’t need to apologize.”

As Lennox heard her words, Meldenique smiled widely and asked, “Apology?”

The Duke momentarily stopped as he looked at her smile.

Had that woman ever made such a face while apologizing?

He had only seen her face expressing sadness, disappointment, or screaming in anger.

But in the end, she would act within his expectations.

Lennox stared intently at her, waiting calmly for the words to come out of her mouth.

Apology is nonsense!

Looking at the man who will become my ex-fiancé, the male lead, with an arrogant attitude, I frowned.

‘He’s the real male lead? This novel is already ruined. So, I’ll go my own way.’

I took one step closer to him.

Now, the distance between us was less than 30 centimeters. He must have been surprised because it was the closest we had ever been.

But his face still had a lazy smile. He was definitely a poker face.

But can he maintain that expression of laziness even after listening to what I have to say?

“You should remember this clearly.”

I looked up at him.

But it would be worse for him if I looked down at him. It was a completely different situation from ignoring the pathetic fiancée I had been ignoring until now.

Surely he had a bruised ego as I didn’t apologize.

His elegant forehead wrinkled as he looked displeased.

But I wasn’t interested in his expression.

“If you thought, ‘He’s being dismissive to gain my attention.’ or something like that…”

He furrowed his eyebrows again.

I smirked and opened my mouth again.

“‘I thought he’s such an easy target, I’ll definitely get caught. After all, she’s an annoying woman who used to cling to me.’”

Has he figured out my intentions?

He asked in a puzzled voice.

Seeing him, who seemed surprised as if his mind had been read, I bit my tongue inwardly.

The male protagonist doesn’t know the reader’s mind, but the reader knows his mind very well.

In romance novels, there were not just one or two protagonists or family members who cried and apologized frantically when the woman they ignored suddenly pulled out the breakup card.

Or there were crazy guys who suddenly turned their eyes and shouted, ‘I can never give up!’ without even liking them.

So, the situation where he would catch me would be prevented in advance.

Of course, I’m not the heroine, so that won’t happen.

‘But there’s always a chance.’

Lennox taking an interest in me is utterly absurd.

Whether it’s his belated regret or unnecessary obsession, I had no intention of accepting it!

I raised one corner of my mouth and nailed him perfectly.

“That’s a delusion.”

He looked at me with a reddened face.

“How dare you…”

He had already stepped on the ax he had ignored and grinding it.

But it was too early to get angry with just this. Since my words were not finished yet.

I needed a stronger final remark.

“By now, you should have understood it well.”

I smiled brightly at him like a dazzling sun.

“Will you get out of my life now?”

Don’t approach me anymore as a cheating man.

“Because you are filthy.”

“A useless thing like you has no value in our family. Take this money and leave immediately!”

“Yes! Goodbye!”

She became the incompetent villainess who commits wrongdoings in order to earn the love of her fiance, the male lead.

Her reputation was already at rock bottom and the main characters, who can’t live without each other, are having an affair.

“Getting kicked out and receiving money is good enough!”

So after she was kicked out, she set up a stationery store in front of a school. She reminisces of snacks, beer candy, and even bubbles! Just you wait, kids!

But… somehow her young customers are a little weird?

“I’ll find you a handsome and modest man, and not someone who has an affair like my brother!”

“Ha, then what about my brother, the crown prince?”

“…the tower master is the best.”

The great magic swordsman, the next crown prince, the villainous tower master, and finally, the hidden villain.

The stationery store, which she thought would be peaceful, left her with no rest.

Help me! I just wanted to live a normal life!
