Chapter 21 Designated Mission
The doubt about the Theseus cells has always lingered in Mo Ling’s mind.
Li Luo was bold enough to start preparing for the next mission.
After resting for a few days, Li Luo replenished her equipment and food, and then came to the mission counter.
She started from the end of the work list as usual, but hadn’t selected a mission yet.

He took out an electronic map and pointed to a marked area, saying, “This area marked with a red line is the blockade zone of the Theseus cells. I need you to go there and take a look.”

Since there is an outpost, why does Li Luo need to investigate? Mo Ling couldn’t help but wonder.

So much? Mo Ling was still shocked by the range of the stationmaster’s permission, while Li Luo had already pressed the accept button.
After obtaining the map and permit from the stationmaster to visit the outpost, Li Luo set off directly.
The journey to the blockade area was not far, but it was very remote and secluded. It took two days of winding roads to reach the designated location.
As they were about to arrive, the sky suddenly darkened.

He quickly glanced at the time on Li Luo’s electronic screen and found out that it was not evening yet.
Looking at Li Luo, who had slowed down the speed and was looking up at the sky, Mo Ling gradually saw what was ahead clearly.
It was a high wall.
A thick and solid high wall made of reinforced concrete, Mo Ling’s vision couldn’t even cover the top of the wall, and the foundation of the wall was deeply buried underground, being invisible.
It’s this high wall that blocked the light.
As they approached the high wall, Mo Ling could barely see the scene inside the high wall.
The scenery inside was the same as outside the wall, ordinary plants and small insects that Mo Ling couldn’t see anything abnormal in the blockade area.
But the thought that all these plants and animals might be composed of Theseus cells made Mo Ling shudder.
While still focused on studying the world inside the wall, a stern shout interrupted Mo Ling’s observation.
“Who are you!”
A group of soldiers dressed in thick combat suits with various weapons in hand quickly approached the small vehicle and surrounded Li Luo.
“Get out!”
The soldiers were well-trained and quickly searched the small vehicle and Li Luo.
Upon learning that Li Luo was sent by the Seventh Monitoring Station, the soldiers’ expressions turned even worse, complaining.
“We already know the situation sent by the monitoring station, hurry back, there is nothing abnormal here.”
“We will assist in investigating the escape of the Theseus cells. There are no special circumstances inside the blockade area.”
This attitude made Mo Ling suspicious.
Isn’t this a case of the lady doth protest too much?
Li Luo wasn’t a fool, she showed the soldiers the mission and the permit and insisted on entering.
Seeing the name of the issuer on the mission, the inspecting soldiers angrily said, “It’s Liang Zhi again, hiding in the monitoring station every day and still giving us orders, if he has the ability, let him come himself.”
This statement resonated with others.
“Do they want us to take the blame for the leakage of the blockade area? Isn’t this bullying the honest people?”

These soldiers clearly harbored a lot of resentment towards Stationmaster Liang.

The bandages even covered his face, dried black blood seeping out from the bandages, making him look like a decaying mummy.

The soldiers beside him quickly bowed their heads in apology, their tall figures in front of Captain Su looking like children.
“Let’s go, I’ll take you in.”
Without doing anything else, Captain Su led Li Luo out of the encirclement and walked to the side along the city wall.
The soldiers who were full of complaints just now were now all silent and followed quietly.
Mo Ling looked at the nameplate hanging around Captain Su’s neck and was also surprised by the inscription:
“Level three Hunter, Bone Breaker Su Yang.”
