Chapter 10

Agnes ordered the two of them.

“Then you all go out, I have to leave now.”

It would be a shocking event for everyone that Agnes accepted the order of the Black Knight Order.

So Agnes tried to induce the rumor that she had ‘grown up’ rather than ‘gone crazy’.

“Yes, yes! Your Highness.”

“Please take care of yourself.”

Emma and Chloe greeted her as if they had been waiting and ran away from the princess’s room.

Agnes also looked at the mirror a few more times and left the place.

And she took one step at a time with the feeling of meeting her first love in 10 years.

Just in time, a pink flower petal flew with the warm spring breeze and tickled Agnes’s cheek.

The intro of Andrea Bocelli’s masterpiece, Mai più così lontano (My Piu Cozy Rontano), was playing as BGM in her head.

This time it felt really good.

As soon as Agnes left the place, she headed to the knight building on the west side of the imperial site.

The specific destination was the Black Knight Order leader’s office in the corner of the second floor.

She had to receive the appointment letter from him directly because it was her first order.

It was the worst when I came last time… but now it was different.

Knock knock knock.

The attendant who followed her from the place knocked on the leader’s office door and guided her.

Agnes waited for an answer from inside with tension.

Thump thump.

Soon, a voice came from inside telling her to come in, and the attendant opened the door for her.

Agnes clenched her fist and slowly moved her steps.

The leader’s office, which was interior with mahogany wood, had a rather heavy atmosphere.

A large figure sitting on a large desk with the sunlight from the window behind him was visible.

It was finally the moment to face my favorite again.

“I didn’t think you’d really come.”

With a low voice sneering, one side of Kyle Gray’s mouth rose.

It was dazzling for a moment because of the backlight, and gradually his features came into view.

‘He’s handsome even if I see him again.’

I didn’t know I was admiring him.

I was out of my mind last time, but his appearance was really fantastic.

He was dimensionally different from the imagination I had with fan art-like novels or special covers.

First of all, he was tall and had a very good physique, as befits the strongest in the world.

He wasn’t disgustingly muscular, but he looked strong enough to not fall to any shock.

‘Look at his chest.’

And the most noticeable thing was his blue eyes that contrasted with his black hair like ebony.

‘I’m hooked, hooked.’

Agnes was overwhelmed by his beautiful eyes. It was a color that reminded me of a clear beach or a spring sky.

His features were neat enough to suit a priest.

But his unique eyes, atmosphere, and expression made him look cold and rough.

Like a priest who fell into a delinquent.

‘Are you crazy?’

How can he be so handsome? Are you sane?

Agnes looked at him with the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen in her previous and current lives, and Kyle glared at her.

Too late, Agnes closed her mouth.

Kyle’s eyes toward Agnes were full of contempt, hatred, and reluctance to deal with him. It was a natural reaction.

He laughed again with a sneer and turned his body to sign the document on the desk with a fountain pen and handed it out.

Agnes reflexively took what he had handed out.

It was an appointment letter. I could see his signature scribbled in the corner.

‘His handwriting is pretty.’

My favorite is perfect except for personality.

‘But rotten personality is cute too… like a rabbit.’

Agnes looked up at Kyle with sparkling eyes.

That look was enough to make Kyle, who was not shaken even by the red eyes of the demons who had been trained in the war for years, flustered.

It was a kind of look that he had never received from Agnes.

‘What the hell is he up to.’

Kyle would have bet his position as a leader until this morning that Agnes wouldn’t come.

She was the woman who made him kneel like a criminal in front of the White Knight Order guys, not to mention slapping his cheek.

But Agnes came here on her own.

‘Did it really hurt so much? Did you go crazy after almost dying?’

Agnes was a bit strange to that extent.

First of all, she didn’t send him the kind of look that she always saw when she saw him, like looking at a bug, not even a microbe, but a pest.

Kyle was particularly sensitive to the aristocrats’ ignoring eyes, and among them, Agnes’s eyes were full of contempt and disregard.

It felt like he had become the most useless donkey in the world.

In fact, Agnes treated him like that. Even at the war memorial party the other day.

He didn’t attend the party because he hated it, but if he had been there, Agnes would have pointed him out and scorned him more openly.

But a completely different kind of look and a fairly polite tone came back, and Kyle couldn’t help but doubt.

Come to think of it, it was a similar look the day after I slapped him.

She definitely had something up her sleeve.

He was nervous in an unexpected situation, but Kyle decided to calm down.

Anyway, Agnes was now his subordinate as long as she wore the uniform.

He had the imperial order, so he thought he would use this opportunity to pay back all the contempt he had received so far.

“Then I’ll give you your first mission.”

Agnes opened her eyes wide and looked at him. Right now?

Kyle looked down at Agnes, who was much smaller than him, even though he was sitting on the desk, and ordered in a high-pressure tone.

“The A-15 area on the east outskirts of the capital is currently under the control of the military. Civilians have all evacuated and are facing damage recovery from the war. Before the construction workers are deployed, the Black Knight Order decided to go in first and patrol to see if there are any monsters left.”

“Go alone.”

Agnes swallowed her saliva.

His voice is really good. Reincarnation is the best.

But wait. What, where are you going? Are you telling me to go to a place where monsters might come out alone?

‘…Can’t you go with me?’

If Kyle goes with me, it will be a fantastic date even if hundreds of monsters come out.

She whispered inaudibly in her heart, but Kyle added in a mocking tone.

“All you can do is wear a dress and look in the mirror, I wonder how well you will perform the mission.”

“If you’re scared and want to run away, go to His Majesty right now and cry and plead, okay?”

Anyone who heard it would feel bad, but Agnes was not very hurt.

She had accepted Kyle’s countless bullshit as a kitten’s bite when she watched the original.

Even now, his words were just a meow punch to her.

His voice is good. His pronunciation is crazy.

Her favorite was more perfect in reality.

Princess Who Hides Her Fandom

Princess Who Hides Her Fandom

Reincarnated into a novel where my favorite character breathes and lives.
The beauty claimed to be the most beautiful in the continent. The jewel most cherished by the Emperor. The queen of the social circles. The time bomb of the Imperial Palace. I became Princess Agnes Saint, the one with all these titles and descriptions!
It’s nice being from a rich royal family, but… Like Draco Malfoy who scorned Muggles in Harry Potter, the problem was that ‘I’ was the despised tr*sh that insulted my favorite character’s integrity.
To make matters worse, she’s hopelessly courting another man. ‘My favorite character is Kylo, the male lead’s rival, and now I’ve reincarnated as a hardcore fan of the male lead…’
But now that it’s come to this… I will, at all costs, by any means possible, prevent my favorite character’s death and pave a flower path for him!
But if I suddenly reveal myself as a Kylo fan, everyone would think I’ve lost my mind. Kylo himself would suspect I’m a madwoman.
I didn’t want my baby cat, my Kylo, to be shocked in any way. So for now, I must hide this agonizing affection.
Plus, revealing your fandom has never done any good. So for the time being, I will perfectly…
‘Hide it.’
